Is there a difference between the front and rear rotors on these cars? I took them all off to have them turned and when I got them back the shop had cleaned them up a bit and scrubbed off the Identifiers I put on them.
they should be interchangeable ,is that a word ?Ron is correct ,I love all the things I learn on this forum .next time your rotors get glazed ,you can use a 3M wheel and a drill to scuff them up .get new brake pads if your current pads are less then 1/4" .

Yes.
...I took them all off to have them turned and when I got them back the shop had cleaned them up a bit and scrubbed off the Identifiers I put on them...
C3 rotors should be turned with the hubs as a unit. That's why they are riveted at the factory. You will need to check run out on all four corners.
I learned the hard way a couple of years ago too. the shop sent me a front rotor for the rear.. the offset is a tiny bit different and I got some grinding where the rotor kissed the caliper. A tiny bit of grinding on the caliper with a dremmel solved the issue.
so yes, look for the extra holes for your parking brake adjustment slot in the rears..
I prefer to adjust my parking brake to "feel" vs adjusting with the rotor on since it is so hard to back it off with the adjuster in order to get the rotor off later.
Got it!!!
SO, hubs and rotors were separated when I got car. I've read where they do not require fastening to each other again and then there was the article that said to use a short bolt and reattach them to each other.
What is best? what bolts or fastening method do you use if so.
Since they have already been seperated, I would use the wheel and lug nuts to hold them in place. I would also check rotor run out since excessive run out will allow air into the system.
