Did you keep the Vette tail housing and mod the crossmember to work with it or swap tail housing for one with botttom mount holes? ? Which ecm did you use?
I used everything out of the 89, computer, tailshaft and all.

Awesome, can you recommend a wiring harness mod guide or did you just start stripping things away by trial and error.

I have a color 91 wiring diagram that I've downloaded and started removing unwanted circuits from. That's the easy part.

There are a ton of wires but after you identify the ones you know you "will" need it really doesn't leave too many to figure out. At least that's what it looks like to me. I've looked at a few harness mod services and nobody will touch a 01227727 harness.

Are there any other components I should try to get off the donar car besides engine/tranny pkg, fuel pump, ECM w/wire harness, all sensers, air intake plumbing/ductwork, drive shaft (so I can leave the original proper length for original L48 & TH350)??

Do I want the exhaust manifolds?

Can I use the 1989 O.D. shifter and cable w/my console??

Is there a port on the 89 ecm for diagnostics or is that a seperate harness/port hookup.

Lastly will all the front accessory serpentine drive clear in my engine bay?

All responses welcome, thanks.

I have read that these will not fit. Not sure where they hit but I'm kind of hard headed and I'll likely trial fit them to see. I got a couple F-Body brackets that are supposed to work but haven't had time to try them yet.

I have read pretty good things about the C4 exhaust manifolds too. I'm going to start out with them.

When you say "everything" can you provide me a detailed list??

Would be greatly appreciated. Also were there ary mods to perform on the drive components or mounting brackets from the 89?

And how do you like the roller TPI engine??

The AC compressor and the seat might fit. Other than that I think that's it....
