Sweet rides guys... now I'm really getting the Corvette itch. :crazy:
I'm going to throw in a little story here because I'm tired and need some sleep.. When I was about 10 y/o there was a guy up the block from me who had a '70 or '71 Stingray. It was black on black with sidepipes, mag wheels (western turbine style), 3" cowl hood and chromed motor.. I was too little at the time to understand anything really about 'Vettes but knew that I wanted one really bad...! He worked nights and came home early in the morning.. he would pass my house and wake me up with the loud exhaust, sweetest sound I ever heard back then. I couldn't fall back to sleep after that. He took me for a ride a few times and I was in heaven. Damn, I can still remember it like it was yesterday.... Unfortunately about a year later he sold it to buy a motorcycle. :confused: Must've been a killer on insurance. I never saw that car again, still wonder what ever happend to it. Although I always vowed to duplicate that car someday, I made one almost exact in 1/24th scale.
