Default Need quick response on Window Weather Stripping

Beginning to install the new window and door lock parts. Installing new actuators using 1/4 x 20 nut and bolts but need to know what size screw holds the weather stripping in place. I got the kit from the po but no screws. Going to have to waller out the holes in the door too. Can someone tell me what they used? I'm trying to find a attachment for my dremel but nothings cutting very well so going to lowes to find that also.

Hope to get response before I leave lowes.

Thanks for help

#8 or 10's. Just a normal sheetmetal screw, but they have an oversize head.

Number 8 pan head. And the one that is at the front...that is under the door panel area...HAS TO BE VERY SHORT...because if it is too long...it will scratch the glass when it is going up.

You better make sure your actuators are really easy to move manually. If they are tight...it is pointless sin uninstall teem because it will make you have a really hard time unlocking the door. You can break the key or worse yet...spin eh lock cylinder in the door and damage the fiberglass.

I actually bought #6 pan heads and one fits and the other is not big enough. may have to go back and buy the #8. I will drill out rivets and replace the actuators tomorrow. Damned time change is killing me. Any idea on how to make the WS fit flush with the door frame and where the "lower inner door seal" goes? I am looking at the AIM and must be blind. How does it attach?

Thx

While at Lowes I picked up some 1/4 x 20 x 1" bolts for the actuators and they are too long. Have to swap them for 1/2" long bolts tomorrow. Just FYI.

The holes where the studs from the outer window seal go. The aftermarket seals apparently arent built to spec so the studs rarely align.
