I just did the same on mine and the blues look really good, and just as Tim stated they are dimmable. Now Im just waiting impatiently for corvette central to ship my damn carpet and Ill post some pics

I agree with damoroso regarding the dimness of these lights. I have replaced every one of mine on my 81 and they are still dim. NO WAY these lights could be that dim originally. There has to be something that makes them that dim. I know my headlight switch is original and it works but I have thought before that's what could be the issue. I don't know of anything else that it would be.
