Lock Linkage Problems
I'm rebuilding/cleaning the door locks, latches etc on my 81. This car was in parts when I got it so I didnt take it apart. I have parts I found in boxes but cant figure out how this linkage goes together. I put the DS together w/o issue but the ps is giving me fits.

Over 40 views and no one can tell me if these are the correct linkage rods? Is there a "left" and "right" side to these? I know there is on the cam but what about the rods? Are the keepers/clips directional?

They are the correct rods.
Copy the driver side. You have to make sure the two rods are correctly connected to the lever assemble in the correct location. If you got one side to work..use it for the other side...but just in reverse.
