The stock Ls3 comes in at 204/211@.050. Lift is .551/.525. The cam I choose is as close to katechs street torques cam as I could get. My lift is .610/.617

The cam is only 223/231 @ .050 20 degrees is a significant change
Yes that is what I'm hoping for. On Katechs website their cam is 224/236 @.050 and the LS3 produced around 525 HP at 6400 rpm. Torque was at 480 ft/lbs and was over 450 ft/lbs from 4200 to 6200 rpm. I thought that was a pretty good starting point. If I'm close to that I will be happy. Should still be very drive able also.

You have the cam in the motor? I was installing a 228/236 .588/613 113lobe separation cam and found I only had 0.040" exhaust to piston clearance. Nothing a tear down and piston/rod replacement couldn't solve
You read on the Internet forum about all these guys installing big cams in stock motors.....one thing to consider the Vette LS3 isn't variable valve timing, the VVT motors have pistons with valve reliefs in them, Vette motors do not....

Yes cam is in the motor and running. This cam is almost identical to Katechs torquer cam and they run it in stock Ls3 motors. I pretty much trust these guys. They seem to build some pretty good stuff .
The guys at ECS run bigger cams in stock LS3s with no issues either. I felt pretty safe with this cam selection.
