LT1 Pics!
Here they are!
For those of you not paying attention in class, this engine is going into the 71 vette. I broke down and picked up a 96 T/A intake and optispark for it today. Just couldn't get the picture out of my head of an LT1 intake under the hood of the C3! Got an LT4 hot cam kit for it too. Other than headers and maybe a little head and intake porting, that will be it. Going to stick with the TH400 that is in the car as well. Hope to have everything done by next summer.

Very cool. Keep us up to date on the conversion. There are a few LT1's floating around and they can be a huge help if you run into any problems.

Very cool!!!!! I know your excited. What rear gears are you running? With such a nice engine, sure we can't talk you into an OD tranny? :D

The car came with 3.08 gears. Unless I got a great deal on a new auto, I will probably stick with what I have. I am not too worried about milage on this thing! And with a 6K redline (Hot cam) I should not have to get to concerned about top speed either!
