Replacing rear leaf spring

Easy swap, as said. I've heard the composite springs ride better, but no first hand experience. I've still got the original spring(s) under my 69 and they're as stout as they were the day it left St. Louis.

Unless everthing on the car is 100% stock and original I would not purchase someones corvette without a composite spring, because I would need to replace it to get a better ride and one that won't sag again. Long term fix which I would pay extra for.

Hey thanks for all your inputs. The reason for repalcing it is because the vette sits a little lower on rear driver side and it drives me crazy. Others say they can't really tell.. But i can. and yes i tried adjusting it and it got better but i can still see it and it measured maybe 1 inch lower. So it is all origianl so i will probably go with composite and keep the stock one in case i ever sell it. Thanks again everyone!!!

It's possible that there's some other cause for the car sitting lower on one side than the other.
A picture of the spring and it's hardware, and the rear body mounts, might show the cause.
There's a little adjustment on the spring to trailing arm bolts. If the difference is as slight as you say, you might be able to go down on the passenger's side and up on the driver's side, and end up level.
