Odd question about Amp mount

Odd question about Amp mount
I want to mount my amp on the back panel wall of the storage but I'm not sure how much room there is between that back wall and the fuel tank. Anyone know or has mounted their amp there? If so what length screws did you use?

Hi BLD,
You can see the distance from the bulkhead to the tank by looking under the car.
On my 71 coupe it's between 4 and 5 inches.
Yours may be different because of a change in the configuration of the gas tank over the years.

I put a sheet of 3/4 MDF board which I carpeted in front of the bulkhead. Used 10-24 flathead screws with locknuts and fender washers to hold it in place. Attached the amp and a few other things to it. Been there for 13 years and works great.
