I think it's the TCS relay based on the location but that's too many wires

What's your serial number? I know early 72's have a seatbelt warning system that automatically comes on, and then turns off after a certain amount of time. Later 72's have seatbelt warning system that is activated by the retractors, and passenger seat sensor.

If its an early 72, it could be the timer relay for the seatbelt system. I don't know when the crossover was, but my December build, 9550, has the later system.

Also, I believe that the seatbelt timer is supposed to be attached to the center top dash support that mounts to the firewall and screws into the top dashpad.

Chevrolet part #3996297, is listed as the TCS Spark Relay for the 72 Corvette, as well as other Chevrolets.

If it can help, the seat belt buzzer stuff on my '76 is behind the passenger map tray, tucked again the A-pillar.
Often the connector is there but the buzzer itself is gone.
