Installed a set of headers that purchased from a forum member; now they are installed and the better is on the ground. The collectors are about 3" from the ground!
Not sure what to do other then reinstall the stock headers and get the dual chambered exhaust from mid-america. Anyone know if the dual chambered exhaust from mid is worth spending the money on?

If you are planning on installing a custom exhaust system...and removing the catalytic converter...it is up to you.
I have run custom duals on a 1980...and it was tricky due to the transmission cross-member...and I used a 2-in-2-out catalytic converter. I can not ever remove a catalytic converter due to Federal Law...regardless what my State requires for inspection. What you do...is all up to you. But I can tell you that most exhaust shops will not do a system that had a catalytic and not install one....especially how many of the high-flow cats do not greatly effect power....especially if you are going to drive it on the street with some sense.
Yes its lowered, I replaced the stock with cup 550's (which are sweet).
NJ doesn't require cats for vehicles over 25 yrs old.
Did anyone install mid-america dual chambered exhaust recently? I read on another c3 That some people like it and small few had issues( articles was in 2008) .
