1968 327 Convertible
One of the magnaflow mufflers isn't exitign at the correct angle, so the bezel (tip) is crooked on the car. Think I am going to try to essentially 'shim' the connection to the bezel and get it pointed straight.
Lower heater core connection is persistent in its dripping. Intake needed a few bolts and a pipe plug to seal off the extra openings.
Without kowing the cam specs, timing was a challenge. no matter how much advance I added, it wasn't enough it seemed. Finally got that dialed in and now that 327 starts and is happy. More revs, the happier it gets.
Need to adjust the clutch linkage slightly, would like a bit more pedal. Also need to adjust the shift linkage as 1st and 3rd are not wanting to drop in easily. It is still set where the P.O. had it, but its not right. At least not yet.
lip seals on the front calipers are weeping. New calipers, pads, flex lines, etc, arrive today along with a new top. Plan to do the brakes and address the issues listed above all today and start learing to install the convertible top tomorrow.
After putting a couple hundred miles on it, I love the car, but it still has a long list of things that need addressed. Steering, front end, all bushings, weather stripping, interior, badges and emblems, chrome trim, and on and on.
But I'm sure that sounds familiar to a lot of you that have already done this.
