Hi U,
The CLA suffix code was used on 73, 74 and 77 Corvette engines.
The VIN derivitive stamp will tell you what car it was installed in at St.Louis. The numbers should match the VIN plate on the driver's side windshield post… viewed through the windshield.

There should be a second stamp to the side of the V0823CLA. It will be the VIN derivitive of the car the engine was originally installed in. Hopefully, it will match our VIN. Look for 13S4xxxxx.
CLA is a valid code for a 73 L-48 base engine car with auto trans.
010 blocks are very common 350s.
