Default Wiring question

I didn't have the privilege of dissembling this Vette, can someone help with identifying this wire and correct location? My seven year old daughter suggested hooking it up to another red wire. It is co-located with the steering column ignition bundle. I looked at my AIM but didn't see the wire in question.

Wiper door switch connection. Connects to the back of the round *** below column. I used mine to draw power for my motor on my wiper door to get rid of the vacuum. You can see it here between my Check engine light and on/off switch.

Hi Kevin,
DS is right. Once the wiper door is open and the wipers turned on, turning the **** stops the wipers where ever you want them…. for example in order to change the blade inserts.
I suggest you cultivate your 7 year old's interest in the wiring.
She's the perfect combination of size, strength, and intelligence, to work under the driver's side dash!!!!!
Regards,
Alan

I respectfully submit, I don't know how you "older" guys fit and contort into some of these places. I'm probably a little younger than the average here and can barely get out of bed after some under the dash work sessions.

59.5, was a GM Tech for years. Think I have grooves worn in my body for the door sill plates to rest when I work under the dash. I can do 98% of it based on experence, the other 2% I have 56 Auto Shop kids that will kill each other for a chance to work on this car.

My biggest limiter is these GD#@#!% Bifocals, that never seem to be the right distance for what I need to see.
