Default Front suspension help

I just purchased my first Vette couple months ago. Its a 79 L82. The control arm bushings were basically gone on the lower control arms. I tore it all down and replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints sway bar links and shocks. Now its all done the front end of the car seems to be sitting higher than before. I thought maybe the coil springs were not in correctly but they are. I can see nothing wrong. any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks

DID you tighten the upper control arms before you let the car down? I believe the proper procedure is to get everything tight EXCEPT the bolts going into the upper control bushings. Let the car down so that the weight of the car will push the car into it's proper stance, then tighten those bolts.

thanks for the reply....and yes the bushing bolts are still loose the car is on the ground and it seems to have good suspension travel. I even took one side back apart to make sure the control arms travel freely and they are good. put back together and sits same.

If you are re-installing the same coil springs....it can not change....especially if they are "clocked" correctly in the bottom of the lower a-arm. It is in your head that it is higher. Get it on the ground....tighten the control arm bushing bolts....then drive it and let it settle.
