1969 headlight switch
The nut would only catch a few threads. When I installed the ****, it would not catch. After a couple of try's the switch came loose. Darn.
Did I not match it up properly when attaching the nut., or is the bezel to thick?
Any input would be appreciated. At least I did check some on the dash lights.
Thanks in advance of your input

You are right.
The problem is, it seems the nut will not penetrate enough into the switch.
This return does allow the actual switch to go far enough into the switch to catch.
I did install a new dash section. It may be to thick to allow the nut to go into the switch.
I am taking it apart today. Will post results.
Thanks

Ok record time. Remove steering column tilt dash panel.
Check thickness of new dash panel, thickness of headlight bezel, compare to length of headlight nut.
Cannot put bezel as it to thick to allow the switch *** in insert and seat, to operate headlight switch.
Junk reproductions are not to spec.
Thanks
Max
