Default How to adjuct the window down stops?

Both power windows on my 80 stop going down with a few inches of the glass still up. I think I need to adjust the down stops but the aim doesn't say what to do, it just shows the location of the screws to loosen the stops. Do I just loosen the screws and power the window down and retighten the screws when the window is in the right position?

Hi K,
I believe the stops are 'slugs' that are in the 2 tracks the glass moves up and down in. The screws tighten the slugs in the track at the point you want the window to stop.
I think though that you have another problem because there's not that much 'adjustmen't ("a few inches") in the stop's position.
Regards,
Alan

Figured it out. Bubba routed the remote mirror cable wrong and it was getting caught on the window and stopping it from going all the way down.
