1982 Power Door Lock Switch Issue

1982 Power Door Lock Switch Issue
Can anyone explain the wiring function or what wires do what from the pig tail to fuse box? Are both door locks wired together in some way? If issue with one side will the other not work? I replaced both actuators and switches and am blowing fuses. My drivers side was working fine now nothing. Replaced right side pig tail and grounded the switch to the door.
Could i bypass the wiring that runs through the door some way? How do i test for a break in wiring or a short?

You need a volt/ohm meter to test for shorted and open wires.
If you need more info...reply to this.
If you do not own one...and you are working on your own car...I would highly advise getting a Factory Service manual. I would NOT get one from a auto parts store...they lack information that you might need.
