zz502? crate problems
4 miles on new crate motor and rocker arm nuts backed off can,t wait to see what comes next .All the rocker ***** are galled.and looks like they are made of the powdered metal process .Chinese ? any Ideas this is the new zz502 deluxe engine also lots of dust in the pan when i pulled it to change it upon first arrival ,anyone experiance these problems.

If it is from China, it's the part of China that GM, Ford, and Chrysler etc. sub their parts out to. Not the part of China that everybody else uses and is referred to as Chinese junk. Seriously, I hope you get figured out.

bought engine from summit from warehouse in Georgia . Of course I primed the motor and also retorqued the lower end when i changed the pan also the head bolts.And yes had good oil to the top end. The problem was easy to fix .Installed a set of Crower stainless enduro roller rockers and poly locks. Not to complane but just letting you arm chair techs.to pay close attn, to what you might see in the future. thanks 42 years building engines
