For those who haven't read Lars's post about his short Miami visit here is some information:
Lars will be passing throug Miami next Saturday. I will pick him up at the Airport and bring him to my place. He is willing to do a little tuning on some cars during his visit. Should you want to meet Lars and/or need a little tuning on your Vette e-mail me and I can give you directions to my place (where Lars is going to be during his very short stay). Lars will be in town this Saturday from approx. 4:15 PM - 6:30 PM .
Re: Lars visit!!! ATTENTION MIAMI AREA!!! (GrandSportC3)
Not that I will be able to make, although I wish I could. I was wondering with all the delays these days getting in and out of airports, how much time will he actually have at your house?

His flight actually arrives around 3:30 PM. I calculated approx. 30 minutes until he will be able to leave the airport and 15 minutes to my home.... I hope that his flight isn't late and there are no delays at the airport

Re: Lars visit!!! ATTENTION MIAMI AREA!!! (GrandSportC3)
As Olivier points out, we need to have some tools available locally, since I can't bring sharp pointy objects along in my carry-on anymore... airport security just freaks out over timing lights, ball peen hammers, and sharp little screwdrivers.
Olivier will obtain an adjustable timing light, but we need to have an 1/8" Allen Wrench for adjusting dwell; we need a good dwell meter; and we need some basic hand tools for popping apart carbs and yanking distributors. In the past during my tech sessions I have brought this stuff with me in my checked baggage, but I won't have access to my bags during this short layover.
As some people have noted, we won't have a lot of time, but I'd still like to meet a few of the Miami enthusiasts and enjoy a couple of beers. If we can tinker a little with some tuning and get a couple of cars set up a little better, then that will be great. I figure we'll probably be limited to about an hour and a half or so. If the flight gets in late and cuts into the tuning time, we might just have to drink and benchrace instead. Either way, we'll have a good time, and I look forward to meeting a few of you.

I have some allen wrenches. As far as tools for carb tuning. If you can be more specific as to what is needed I can probably get a hold of whatever else you need. Even if you don't have time to do anything to our cars it will be great just meeting the legend in person. :yesnod:
