also get a new cap and rotor .dose the distributor still have points in it ?if so do a conversion on it .or get a good HEI distributor for it .

I suggested that to the shop, cap didn't look like it fit correctly. I also suggested they replace the coil.

Hopefully they find something.

Sitting here thinking….they drained the fuel tank, blew out the lines, replaced carb & fuel pump but what if they put the old gas back in and its bad?????????

That would cause all the same symptoms, right?

didn't you add fuel? they probably put a little fresh gas in it to start it

even if the points look good have them run a file or fine sandpaper across them, if they have been sitting that could be your whole issue.

Cant waste any more time here in FL. on this. Scheduled for surgery on Friday. Still has a miss and the shop is not confident I could make it back to CT.

Going to have it shipped home, where I won't have any time constraints.

I can not say enough great things about the guys at Burnyzz Speed Shop in Ocala!!!!!!!!!!

Great Call, then when everything is running up to speed, you can drive it back down the coast line for a vacation. More than anything else though,
good luck on your surgery and recovery.
