Default External Differences between 68 & 69

What are some of the obvious differences between the 68 & 69 cars.?

I believe the gills changed from '69 to 70. The chrome bumpers changed from 72 to 73. That sort of thing.

I'm kinda, sorta starting to look at 68-72 vettes with maybe a possible future purchase.

Thanks
Ryan

'68 doors have a push-in thumb latch for the doors. '69 - '82 doors use the finger latch.

Also 68's have thier revese lights below the rear bumper, 69's are intergrated into the tail light assembly. 69's are Stingrays, and have chrome gill inserts, in 70 they went to the egg crate gills (The part I do not like compared to the 69's) they also went to a more flared look around the wheels (The part I like alot) I would like to see a 70-72 with 69 gills.

Only the 69 L-88 had the C-3 L-88 hood, I really like those, have one myself. :chevy

No "STINGRAY" basdge above gills. No chrome inserts in gills. 68 backup lights are below rear bumpers. 69 are in the taillights. Front parking lights maybe white instead of amber(but i'm not 100% on this one). ^8 Rally wheels are 7" wide,69 are 8"wide. Now if you go to interior there is a whole bunch of differences.
