Thank you for your response I was looking at your Pictures on the way you routed your plug wires and noticed the heater box looks different can you tell me about that type box please thanks
Its a a/c delete heater box. I got it from eBay . I removed my a/c and found the original box deteriorated from oil. The a/c delete box mounts the same as the original box but its much thinner since it does not hold the evaporator. The only thing that was a little tricky was fitting the blower resister . I've saw a few different ways to mount it , most are bottom mounted but then the wiring harness needs to be lengthened. Not wanting to cut the new harness I installed I modified the resister to fit on the top. I have some pics from when I installed it if you want to check it out.
I route my plug wires the same as they did from the factory (SBC).
From the plugs down, through the sheet metal shields on the block and back up behind the heads. Factory length wires work, don't need any fancy or expensive looms and I don't burn any wires. And yes, I have full length headers.

If I remember correctly, I picked these up at Advance Auto, don't recall the brand though, but I like them.
I have the same. Spectre brand. Probably not as good as the ones from summit, moroso, or msd, but surprisngly stout for the 20 bucks on amazon. Chrome is decent quality too. Worth the money. Instructions suck but easy to figure out.
