The 2101 manifold is a dual plane manifold? You have substituted it with a Torker which is a single plane I believe. Personally for a street driven car (if that's what you use it for) I would have refitted the original because you will lose some low end power with the Torker.

Agree. Unless it has 4-speed OR auto with high stall and 3.73 or better gearing, he will lose low-end torque.

Glad to hear he eliminated the oil issue.

Before buying another intake to replace the Torker single plane, I would drive it for awhile to make sure it fixed the problem and work out any other issues first.

That is the plan.

The single plane is only "what we could get", Peter has a 2701 on it's way home from USA right now.

A dual plane is what this engine needs.
