31,yea  But seriously, Oliver did Lars give you any advise on your oil burning issue? :)
I did not ask him about the oil issue.. I will probably bring the car to my mechanic and have him analyze where I'm losing the oil...
As long as I'm not fouling the plugs - I don't worry too much about it.
Hey Oliver (sic)
I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you have misspelled your name in your sig!!
or is everyone else misspelling your name?
So it's Olivier, like Sir Laurence? :) MJ

My name is really Olivier!!! It's the french version of Oliver. My parents just liked french names and that's why they named me Olivier.... Well - it's spelled wrong in 1/2 of all my documents.. :( :(. Even in my native country (Austria - Europe) it is spelled Oliver... I prefer being called Oliver rather than Olivier. However - when typing I use my real name!
BTW - it is not part of my signature - I always type

Re: THANK YOU LARS!!!!!!!!!!! (shoptek)
Hey guys, I made it back!!!
First, I'd like to thank you all for the warm friendship and hospitality that was extended to me and my family during our fast-paced tour through Miami Beach. You guys are all truly insane; your drinking skills are impressive; and the cars were just great!
For those who haven't followed this story, I had a 4-hour (almost) layover in Miami during my flight to Jamaica for my vacation. Olivier showed up at the airport and whisked me, my wife, and our daughter out to Miami Beach. We dashed through an auto parts store to pick up an adjustable timing light, and then met the Miami Crew and the cars. Olivier had the welcome mat extended to everyone - really a great group of people! I'm quite impressed with everyone.
We tore into 3 of the cars, and did a little carb setup, ignition timing, and advance curve tweaking - really a total blast! We only had about an hour-and-a-half of actual tuning time before we had to rush back to the airport to go through security - Olivier was running with the fuel gauge below empty, so we weren't really sure if we would make it or not...!
We made the airport and our gate with time to spare, so we waited.... and waited.... but nobody showed up at the gate on the "B" concourse. With 15 minutes before departure, we found out that they had moved the gate while we were tuning Vettes to the "E" concourse (you can't get any farther away at Miami Int'l). We set a world-record time on our sprint through the airport and made it with at least 3 minutes to spare....!
There were no Vettes in Jamaica, but the MasterCraft ski boat died just when it was my turn to ski. So I got to do a little 350 Chevy Fuel System work on the beach - even though it was in a boat...
Hey Guillermo -
Let me know if you need some help with that distributor - it will make a big difference in the way your car runs..
Take care, guys!! Hopefully, we can do this again without the schedule constraints!!

I'll bet that boat NEVER ran better after you were done with it :yesnod:
Good to hear that you made it to Jamaica and back... You should have made the trip 1 week later... I just got my new 80528 carb and it came with 76/82 jets. That's actually the jetting recommended by my engine builder. However- when I ordered the carb - I didn't know that the power valve was blocked off on the carb that was used by the engine builder on the mule engine. I will have to change the jets on the carb again to make it streetable... Curtis (Mountaninmotor) recommended 70 primary jets (without the primary power valve blocked off) and 76 - 78 rear jets for my engine. That's what I want to put on. However- I don't know how to change jets. Can you tell me how to change jets? Do I need to take the carb apart?? Is it something that I can do without having too much knowledge about carbs?
Welcome back Lars :seeya I hope you didn't have to spend your whole vacation working on engines  I'm getting my distributor and carb taken care of this up coming weekend, but thanks for the offer. If I do run into any trouble I'll shoot you an email.
