I'm sure some of you fellers running AC know what I am talking about. Kind of an evil looking stud that runs through the bracket into the Manifold/Header bolt threads. Basically almost a traditional stud with a nut in the middle.
Any reason to not use regular Grade 8 Bolts with spacers in this application?
My old one is ROACHED. As is the other AC Bracket Header Bolt which interestingly enough seems almost warped. I haven't checked my AIM, but I believe there was only one of these studs for the bracket, the other was a bolt with spacers...
Be wary of bending it with too much weight or force.
I used the stock bolt with washers on my header setup, that way I knew the AC bracket was spaced out properly.
