Which water pump on my crate engine?
I have an 80 with a crate 350 in it. I need to replace the water pump, the one in the car now has a casting number of 30998 which doesn't seem like the right number. How can I be sure I get the right pump? Would any pump for a stock 350 fit? Any help greatly appreciated.

you have to determine the pump shaft diameter and length, there are long and short pumps. Read this link with the dimensions
