i have a wiring diagram for my 1976 stingray, but my wires are different colors than it shows. Are there more than 1 diagram for that year.It seems like i have a ground problem.Someone removed the alarm wires and heater motor doesn't work unless you run 12v to it.
The colors of the wires may change and often times you will find that the wring diagram is wrong...and the colors of the wires change in the diagram depending on the wiring diagram you have. Some make their own diagram and correct problems that GM let go. This is why I asked if you have an ohmmeter..so you can check the wires and make your own corrections.
Yes I have a voltmeter.ac clutch kicks in if I dont ground my wiper motor or my blower motor.I have to ground my wiper motor so it works.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.Mikej69

PLEASE re-read what you write when to go to post it. This is not making sense and I can not tell if your are missing a period(.) or not...and cannot follow your train of thought.
As you wrote...which does not make sense:
"ac clutch kicks in if I dont ground my wiper motor or my blower motor.
The wiper motor and blower motor ground are usually connected together and get grounded down by the starter area.
The A/C compressor ground is usually grounded at the area of the compressor itself.
Glad that you have an volt/ohm meter. It will be needed,
To get the blower motor to work...now knowing that you have A/C. You have a resistor that bolts to the top of your evaporator case that can be bad...and not allowing power to get to the motor.
Are you concerned in getting the blower motor to work???
