Default Borgeson Alignment Specifications

I cant seem to find the paper that came with the Borg box with the recommended specification for the alignment. I seem to recall they suggested a 3* or 4* castor, but I wanted to make 100% sure before I go in for the alignment. Anyone have details on their recommended setting?

Also, has anyone used their recommended setting, and if so, how did it work out? One guy I spoke to on the phone said it was a bad idea when I told him that Borg recommended the 3-4* castor (hope I told him right).

You are correct - Borgeson suggests 3-4 degrees positive castor with installation of their box.

Any idea of what the benefit is for this 3-4*? I dont understand enough about it to know, but I dont want to tell the shop to do this and end up with any of the bump steer that i have now.

The additional caster keeps you going straight down the road. Works like the wheels on a shopping cart. I could only get 2 1/2 degs max out of my car which still worked ok.

Yes you need the additional caster with the Borg upgrade. T
