Default Transmission problem
I got a 1981 three speed automatically went I shift in any gear it want to diehit to gas it stay up

When he puts it in gear it stalls unless he presses the gas pedal.....

Does the engine idle smoothly in PARK?

Will the engine rev up without missing while the transmission is in PARK?

Does the transmission have a Lock-up torque converter?

It run smooth idle I don't know about the lock torque converter how will I find out if I do or don't
