I removed mine with a Sawzall and long blades. I suggest you put some light oil on teh blades to make them last longer. It was awkward and took time, but worked. The bolt rusts and seizes to the bushing sleeve in the end of teh trailing arm. Penetrating oil didn't help. The shock mounts do the same thing. I had to cut on both sides because it was badly rusted into the strut rod bushing. I replaced the trailing arm bolt with a stainless steel one bought from one of the Vette parts catalogs. I put anti seize compound on the bolt and shock mount during installation. I also replaced the shims with stainless ones.
