1970 coupe, #00538 had the 1969 style rear carpet (light saddle, vinyl).

I have photos somewhere, but I am absolutely certain it was original carpet.

1970 coupe, #00531 is for sale on this forum, original car with black interior... Perhaps the owner will comment.

Cars from 1968-1970 used the same rear T section. On convertibles the Wing glued to the side of the shock tower, on coupes, the wing got notched for the hinge for the rear window storage.

What happened to the pictures posted here? Did something change... this is a shame since there was so much info posted in this thread about originality. ???

And just another note.. if someone tells you they have this flu that is rolling around.... boot them, get a gas mask, take a shower in Lysol... lol.. it's a beast of a bug.

Photo Bucket basically screwed everyone over and they want a huge fee to subscribe and for previously stored photos to be displayed.

If you are still in search of pictures regarding 70 Conv. carpet the new NCRS JG has excellent pictures.

Hope you feel better. The bug is brutal this year!

I think I'm good... both on the pictures and the bug...

I'd personally like to slap the person that gave this to me... (he's on here and he knows who he is lol).. Three plus weeks of hell.. Feeling better now though.
