Headlight/Gauge Cluster Problem
My 1980 C3 started having a problem involving the headlight switch when activated, the console gauges lose power all at once. When the headlight switch is deactivated, the gauges return to normal power. Can anyone help me with this mystery situation?

YES...you will need to remove the gauge cluster and begin checking circuits when you pull the headlight switch.
AND if you do not have one...a wiring schematic of the car would also be very helpful to you along with a volt/ohm meter.
