I Bought a VBP performance plus kit and has a offset upper control arm shaft. I installed them but I think I have them in backwards.
I don't see any markings that say which way they go in.
I installed mine with the offset flat spots toward the engine and the round side towards the wheel,, is this correct?
I need to see them installed (photo)...and I thought VB&P has marked them to stop any confusion. The off-sets should face outwards...because they are made because the cradle collapses over time..and during each alignment...shims are often removed to bring the control arm back out....so having more material to allow more distance...hence the off-set...gives you more time on your frame.
Then I have them in backwards. But I only have 3 shims in the front and back on each side, so should I leave it alone?
I did a home alignment with my camber caster gauge, my specs are.
Toe- 0
camber, about .25
caster set about 4.75 pos with offset arms
but because I have them in backwards should I try for 2.75 pos as there specs say for standard arms.

Call Gary at VB&P and verify what I wrote. Now is the time to flip them over....unless you do not want to mess with it.
