I'm working on swapping the stock steering assembly with a Borgeson upgrade on my '80 So far so good except for one problem. I dropped one of the cylinder brackets inside the frame and it went back pretty far, now I can't reach it. Am I ok to leave it or should I start to worry?
Get a magnetize pickup tool and get it outta there. You will find many uses for that tool down the road. ...
Patience and beer.
It would work alot better if the frame and everything but the body wasn't magnetic.
I have one of the flexible non magnetic grabbers and an inspection camera for those hard to reach places. Saved me a head removal when a small screw found its way into a cylinder.
