Key buzzer ?!?
Neither works as I've never heard buzzing ever, but today I removed my dash pad and figured I would check out that module between the speedo and tach. Darn, I was also hoping to find a build sheet in between there, oh well.
Just wondering how I should proceed to get everything fixed?, and how both are supposed to function? Are they mutually exclusive or do they work in tandem?
Thanks! Joe

The part in your column is the switch that lets the buzzer know when to work if the key is still in the ignition.

But I really would like to know how this module works, and if it works in conjunction with that other key warning module that's buried somewhere deep in my steering column?
There is NO module buried deep in the column...as I wrote in the past post...all there is.... is a switch that when the key is IN the ignition switch...the switch closes....and it sends a signal to the buzzer....and this also uses the door jamb switches.

Thanks, JH
Are you testing the original key warning buzzer module....or a new one???
NOT meaning to be a smart @ss...do you know how to read and understand a wiring diagram??? Please do not take offense in that question...but it matters if I know if you know how to or not...because if your REALLY know how to read a wiring diagram and understand circuitry...then you do not need my help. If you don't...and you live in the United States. You can PM me and I can give you my shop phone number so we can talk on the phone....when you are at your car...and I can aid you in understanding the circuitry and your can do tests with me on the phone....instead of us typing for hours on this issue.
It is up to you. If we have to type back and forth...then I will help you if you need it.

I'm trying to test the original key buzzer that was in the car. I have a Dr Rebuild wiring diagram and I'm a novice at reading it. I understand just the basics, so I could use your help. I'll PM you so we can talk on the phone. Thanks! I really appreciate the help!! Joe
