A C3 is a heavy beast especially with a BB up front. I have a pretty firm peddle and the brakes stop ok. I have the stock pads that come with the rebuilt calipers. Probably not the best ones in town. As they heat up & when real hot outside the stopping distance and the amount of pressure increase. Called fade??
Who has experimented and run aftermarket performance pads and with what sucess? What about rotors? Thanks.
Performance Friction work very well if you can stand the squeel, screach or whatever you want to call it. They do not work too good cold though. For all around use I like A/C delco replacements. They last, and have a good pedal feel and don't wake up the whole heighborhood at 6:00am.
I picked up a set of the Hawk Plus pads from Vette Brakes. They stop GREAT for the street. Don't know how they would handle on the track, though, but for hte street they are amazing. So much so, I just picked up some Hawk+ pads for my Eclipse :)

big,
I know where you can get some "killer" brake pads, the only problem with them is that they don`t work cold, they produce TONS of dust and they cost an arm and a leg. Besides that they are GREAT!!
