My D&D T56 is modified to locate off the bellhousing hole and use the factory clutch, TO bearing, clutch linkage and bellhousing. Also has speedometer cable output. It is a Viper trans rebuilt and modified with an offset shifter. They quit making them.

Duh. Could you please contribute something to a thread that is actually useful instead of sarcasm?

My Best upgrade was to purchase a 2nd corvette so when I am working on the 78 I still can enjoy a vette. 2010 GS Convertible.
Its the C6 Manual cars that had me looking at what change to make for the 78. All the work this swap will take will hopfully pay off.

Next is changing the 3.08 rear to something similar to the C6 3.42 ratio. But I will first see how it drives. It may be next winter project.

But this will have to wait. I am off to SpringMountain first week in april for a little fun on the track. Time to abuse someone else's cars.
