Default trailing arms
Got the arm out of the car, thank you sawzall. Cleaning them up. Are these inserts part of the bearing or do they stay in the arm?

They stay in the arm and new bushings go inside. I just finished rebuilding mine not too long ago.

Paint them with VHT epoxy paint after you get them clean. That paint is as hard as a rock after it dries.

Not necessarily...it depends on the design or type of bushing that is being installed.
