Thank you, Thank you. Now I'm happier than a pig in sh&%. I thought they were discontinued years ago when the ads were in Car Craft. Gonna call first thing in morning. You the man. :D
Here is a litte more of the room, try count em now!!!! I am still going crazy trying to find the extra two or three from the first pic. The only one that is hidden is the upside down model on the top shelf.
These are good days! When I bought my 69 back in 73 all I heard was what a disappointment the new Vettes were compared to the stylish mid year Vettes. I really liked the mid year Vettes, but I was really taken by the sleek, crisp, taut look of the new Stingrays. I love how today people are unabashedly appreciative of the C3's look. The early press didn't like the 69 Camaro styling either. Many auto press guys like Brock Yates have since eaten their words and asked for forgiveness.

You have had your car for 30 years? WOW! What did folks think about the decreasing power during those years? I wonder how people would feel if the C6's came out with decreasing power down to around 200 HP.

Maurice,
Those were dark, dark days. :( People quickly forgot the real performance levels of earlier high performance optioned Vettes. Even though I owned several new Vettes during this dark period, I was always apologizing for what they really could be if only... To be very honest, I would have preferred that they had discontinued Corvette and kept its perfomance name/reputation intact.
What really bugs me today is that many new Vette owners think that truly high performance Vettes have only been made during the last couple years.
My 85 Vette cornered great, fabulous sound system, but had the same heads, cam, and pistons as a 1972 Nova 350 with a 2 barrel carb. Not a very potent combination even with direct port injection.
It is good to have the power levels back again. It is also good to still have an example of a Vette from the high water mark of more than 30 years ago. :yesnod:
theres 2 models on the shelf of vettes right? and one little car under your monitor,i think that s a vette too.
WOW! Yes there are two models on top of the shelf! I forgot about the 2nd one. The little one under the monitor is a police car. You guys have better eyes than I do.
