Starting to put my car back together is there a good "how to article" to attach the rear widow (removable) seal. I just got it back from paint so I do not want to mess it up. Thanks
Hi v,
The seal was originally held in place with regular weatherstrip adhesive.
On at least some cars St.Louis used 3 very small flat headed screws in each of the upper corners. This helps hold the rubber tight against the fiberglass lip.
If your car had them originally you'll see the holes unless some body work was done in that area.
Here are a couple of pics from my 71.
Good Luck!

Alan

Hi V,
Be careful as you put the seal in place.
It's VERY easy to 'stretch' it just a bit as you install it which makes the seal a little too 'long', and you end up with a bulge that you can't get to lay flat because there's too much rubber.

What a pain in the *** for the install but I think it worked after a few mods. My car had two holes on each side which helped. I do not plan on removing the rear widow so a water test later will determine the install. Now for the outer window felt any thoughts, here is the forum https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ndow-felt.html
