Difference between c3 stingray door shell

No, you don't HAVE TO repair the door gaps. They aren't perfect, but they aren't that bad. I would have absolutely worked on them pre-paint, but that ship has sailed. Once you re-paint both doors and a foot either side of the doors, you are repainting the whole car. I would do some hinge and striker plate adjusting and live with the flaws. They bother you but nobody else even notices them.

Now that is a good point. I already figured that I repainted the car far too soon as I'm still making a lot of mechanical and interior work on it.
Well luckily painting the car wasn't that huge of a cost but still could have put that money to other use before painting. I will adjust the striker a bit and see what is what.

Looking at it some more I'm leaning towards the quarter panel being bonded on wrong as the reason the middle of the door sticks out. We already know the quarter has been messed with since the bottom of it is wrong, If they bonded it on with the door off it would explain why it doesn't line up.
