Default Crate Engine Installation Advice Needed

I have officially ordered the Year One CT359PC1 crate engine or my 1978 L48 Vette. Hereare my questions

1 Can I use the 14" flywheel that comes with the motor?
2 Can I use an 11" clutch with my Saginaw 4 speed?
3 What clutch is recommended for primarily Hard street driving with occasional track days?
4 Can I reuse the clutch that I currently have that has nothing wrong with it?
5 I plan on pulling just the motor and leaving the trans in. Is that okay?
6 Does anyone live near San Diego that could be bribed with an exorbitant amount of beer to help me do this? Hahahahaha....

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. Me and some buddies plan on doing it and taking it slow. I have the help of the all knowing YouTube, my AIM, and my shop manual. God willing, it'll be okay! More than a little nervous.

Thanks in advance!

If you can reuse the flywheel depends on the crankshaft in the engine. If you have an old style crank in the new engine you can reuse it. If the new engine has a new crank with the one peice rear main seal you will need a new flywheel.

Clutch size is determined by the flywheel. If the flywheel can handle the 11" clutch than you can use one. If the flywheel is for the smaller 10.5" clutch than that is your limit.

You can leave the trans in, but personally I think it is easier to pull them together and install together. Getting the trans lined up while in the car is a pain.

Leave the trans in....aligning is a piece of cake as long as you get the engine mated to trans about 2 inches apart, hook up the clutch linkage, have a helper step on the clutch in the car...engine/trans will slide right together. I wish someone had told me about this trick when I was doing my engine/4 speed installation. I struggled for hours with the mating procedure until I read on the forum Suburu no less about this trick. Should be a sticky...almost no one ever mentions the trick

These two sentences shouldn't be used together.

It's a post 86 roller block which makes it a one piece rear main. If I can't use that flexplate, which one can I use?

A flywheel for a one piece rear seal. Post 86?

Ok ok, I admit, I didn't know that there was a difference between a flywheel and a flex plate. I know, stupid. That's why I was so confused. I thought I was buying something to replace the same thing I just bought. As you can see, I learning as I go.

It all makes sense now. If my research is correct, the Saginaw is a 10 count spline right?
