Got myself some Moroso solid motor mounts, with new hardware from the mount to the block, but I'm having trouble finding the correct ARP frame bolts, the through bolts. I've found 130-3105, but I believe they're only for the rubber mounts. If someone can help, that'd be greatly appreciated!
Okay, perfect. Yeah I got 62530 mounts. I was just hoping to get some new ones, just for "feel good" security. I might just try the local parts store.
I clearly remember seeing Chrysler products in the 1970's that had short 1/4" cables running from the frame to the left side of the engine block to prevent the engine from lifting IF the motor mount failed.
Rather than using so-called "locking" mounts on my 454" I drilled a 3/8" hole thru the middle of the left-side motor mount then put a 3/8" bolt and self-locking nut on it. If for some reason the mount failed the bolt would prevent the engine from lifting.
