Ive been battling torque steer for a couple of months now and haven't made any progress on the problem. The car goes down the rode beautifully but during the last second of 2/3 4/5 shifts the car moves to the right enough to worry about. I have read previous posts on torque steer but I'm still not clear how to fix the problem. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have a trailing arm bushing problem but I can't imagine what that problem could be. Have you had your trailing arms off recently?
My trailing arms have been rebuilt with poly bushings. I looked inside the housing that holds the trailing arms and I noticed there was some play between the poly bushing and the housing that holds the bushing. So I shimmed it tighter. I thought that would help but it didn't help at all. I also measured toe at I'm at 1/8 total inward. Can this be the problem. Do I need more toe in?.
This might sound crazy, but I had a GM dealer do this to me. During an alignment the tech. didn't put all the shims back in and the front of the rear control arms was able to move left/right during acceleration. My car did something similar to your description.
I was able to see visible movement when I applied a light pressure with a small pry bar to the front of the control arm. If you had the alignment done recently, just something to check.
Well I just had the alignment done Friday. And this is what I found last night. I have a 98 inch wheel base on drives side and 97.5 on passenger side. How can this be aligned? I'm wondering if this can be the problem. Those lazer alignment machines are probably worthless for c 3. What else can I say that hasn't been said before about alignment shops today.
If you have a powerful engine and a stock suspension, it will always have some 'torque steer' when going into the next gear. Back in the day when I had that issue, I would crank the steering a bit when making the shift.
If you want it to "go away", you will have to stiffen your motor mounts and suspension components.
I have 375 hp at the flywheel and it squats the rear a bit. I thought I've seen pic of someone triangulate the rear end to stop this problem a while back. I wished I saved the thread.
