Default Oil Pan Help!

I'm putting a '72 small block 350 into my '81 Corvette.
Is there a difference in the oil pans between those years?

I'm ordering online and want to make sure I get the right one.

Any suggestions/advice? Brand? What not to get?

The dipstick changed sides.
The Chinese ones are crap. They don't fit well.

I think I'm going to try and use the low profile Milodon that was on the rebuilt engine (part #30900). It already has the high volume oil pump, wind age tray, and correct pickup. It fit on my Uncle's '79 So hopefully it will fit my '81 without hitting the crossmember (and Give sufficient ground clearance).

If not I will go back to the drawing board.
Thanks for the advice.

I used a stock Milodon with windage tray. It clears the tie rod just fine. The cross member is in front of the dampner.

Thank you Big2Bird...now I can stop worrying about that and start worrying about other things.

And thank you also for the correction. I, of course, meant tie rod...not crossmember. It was late when I posted and my brain was scrambled from hours of searching online for various parts!
