You are aware that these lights ONLY come on when the headlight switch is ON...
Verify that you have a GOOD GROUND to the light socket.
This is a simple circuit.
Do you have tools to fix this???? Such as a volt/ohmmeter and or a test light???

i didn't know about the head light, i need to check thanks DUB
so it is working thanks again for the heads up, but really someone put some clay like substance in the sockets and they were intermittently not coming on

Could be just collected crud (or clay from GA dirt!) from years of use. Make sure that the bulbs are installed in the proper orientation. Some of those bulbs have '****' (excuse me, ladies) that are NOT at the same distance from the base. If you rotate them 180* from correct position, they will not light.

The CORNERING BULB should be an 1156....so it does not matter. Both of the indexing pins on the side of the light bulb socket are at the same distance from the end of the bulb...UNLIKE an 1157. Where the pins are NOT the same....one is closer to eh end of the bulb...and a 1157 MUST go in only one way...the way it is designed....which can be seen if you look into the socket and pay attention to what you are looking for and at.
The 'clay' like stuff is actually a sealing compound to keep dirt and water out of the light socket....and may have a slight yellow/greenish color to it. And this 'clay' like substance is NOT causing the intermittent issue.

ya but i never seen that "sealing" compund before, is that a gm thing?
The contacts in that socket may be corroded (tranished so that there is little current passing) or, if they are 'spring-type' metal tabs, they may have heat/cold cycled so many times that there is little contract pressure left in them.
Disconnect the battery, then clean out the socket, clean the contacts, and [if necessary] bend the contact tabs upward a bit to increase contact force. \
If you don't drive the car in bad weather or on dirt/clay roads, don't worry about putting 'weatherproofing' gunk back in them.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
