Hi o,
This is the turn signal flasher from a 71.
The wiring and connector looks similar to what's on your flasher.
I agree with Fred on the 'box'….?

Alan

does yours attach to the front passenger side panel with a clamp? i would think a turn signal flasher would be by the steering column?

That's what a normal person would think but the sadistic *******s who built the C3 decided to hide certain items, the turn signal flasher being one of them. The flasher is located on the passenger side outer footwell.

Not to mention the Hazard flasher is mounted on- the impossible to get to- fuseblock!!!!
Omarsvette-
At one time some alarm installer added that set up- looks like some relays bundled up- for a security system to flash the lights.
Hi O,
The flasher on my 71 is very easy to reach.
It attaches to a simple spring clip mounted to the bottom of the passenger' side dash pad just about where the astro vent is.

Alan

This is looking UP from the footwell.
yes just like mine.
whats AIM? i have a manual but doesn't help everytime.
Hi O,
The AIM refers to the ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION MANUAL as rhd says.
There is a specific edition for each year.
The manual was issued by engineering to be used and referred to on the production line. In a perfect world it was updated with new sheets as changes were made during the year.
It's one of the 2 most valuable sources of information we have ….along with the CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL which was used at the dealerships.
IF you don't have one you really should buy one.

Alan
