I've been catching mice lately by using an ordinary mouse trap. During the winter months the little critters are attracted to the heat of the radiator, intake manifold, and heater core so I'm finding them inside my '71 even when I keep the windows up. I think they may be coming in thru the passenger side kick panel vent.

I haven't tried it, but I've heard a leaving a 50/50 mix of corn meal and concrete powder in their high traffic areas will make them gone. I haven't had them indoors but some rat was starting to occupy the engine compartment in mama's commuter car last winter. I sprayed all the flat spots with pepper spray weekly and it never came back. The oils laced with capsicum will remain for quite a while.
a few years ago when I started my car I saw a mouses head in the vent on the dash . I have a free standing garage about 40 feet from the house . I started the car closed the garage door and let it run for about 20 minutes . Turned off the car and when I went back about a hour later opened garage door waited about another hour to clear things out the mouse was laying on front seat dead at least I think it was the one . I now do this about 4 times a year it even seems to get the bugs .
Hi folks, my 69 coupe is put away for the winter in nice
Heated garage. Any recommendations on keeping mice out?
I have my garage doors sealed really good, and never leave them open at dusk/after dark cause thats when the critters come in. It is a disaster if they get to your car.
